Fresh Safflower Flowers
Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius) has thistle-like flower heads that are 1-2 inch in diameter with deep yellow petals protruding from the end.
Whole flower heads can be used as a garnish, and petals can be tossed in a salad or brewed in tea.
PLA clamshells and containers are fully compostable.
