Fresh Sacred Basil Flowers
USDA Certified 100% Organic
Sacred, Holy, or Spice Basil (Ocimum tenuiflorum) is used to heal the mind, body, and spirit in Ayurvedic medicine and is also named after the incarnation of the goddess Tulsi, who offers divine protection in Hindu mythology. The pale purple flowers are arranged on 1 to 4 inch terminal spikes that can be used whole to flavor vinegar, soup, and tea, or as a garnish. Their flavor is unique, with a hint of clove and a delicate floral taste.
Sacred Basil Flowers
Use whole to flavor vinegar, soup, and tea, or as a garnish. The individual flowers have a milder flavor than the medium green, rounded leaves and go well with delicate items like fish, cheese, custard, and other desserts.
PLA clamshells and containers are fully compostable.
